U.S. Military HIV Research Program: Collaborative HIV and Emerging Diseases Award

The vision of the MHRP is to address the threat of HIV and other emerging infectious diseases (such as MERS-CoV, Ebola, Lassa, Zika) to the military and global communities. Applicants should address the following research efforts: 

Research Effort 1: Discovery Research

Research Effort 2: Preclinical and Translational Research

Research Effort 3: Clinical Development

Research Effort 4: PEPFAR (Delivery of HIV prevention, monitoring, health programs for global populations)

Research Effort 5: Acute Infection

Research Effort 6: Therapeutics and Cure

Development of a consortium of eligible organizations (submitting under a single application) capable of addressing the diverse requirements of this award is expected.
