DARPA: Harnessing Autonomy for Countering Cyberadversary Systems (HACCS)

The HACCS program will investigate the feasibility of creating safe and reliable autonomous software agents that can effectively counter malicious botnet implants and similar large-scale malware. The program will do so by developing a quantitative framework and established parameters for their safe, reliable, and effective use. 

 

There are four TAs within the HACCS program:
 Find and Fingerprint Botnet Infrastructure (TA1)
 Insert Autonomous Agents into Gray Networks (TA2)
 Identify and Neutralize Botnet

 

Proposers may only submit one proposal as lead institution to the HACCS program. Please be in touch with Liat Grumberg prior to submission.

Funding: No fixed limit 

Duration: 4 years  (in 3 phases)
