Middle East Regional Cooperation Program (MERC)

The program funds peer-reviewed collaborative research projects between Israel and its Arab neighbors. Please note that proposals with West Bank/Gaza are not presently eligible in this cycle.

 

The program seeks applied research and technology development proposals within the broad areas of the natural, physical, and social sciences and engineering. Investigators are encouraged to integrate social science approaches, economics and the use of computer technology into the research where appropriate.

 

 

Budget: up to $1,000,000

Duration: 2-5 years

 

 

 

Research Authority due date: 9.12.19

Pre proposals (required) due date:  16.12.19

Full proposals, by invitation only, are expected towards the end of 2020.
