CDMRP Epilepsy Research Program: Idea Development Award

The intent of the ERP IDA is to solicit research to understand the magnitude and underlying mechanisms of post traumatic epilepsy, especially in Service members and Veterans while benefitting the civilian community.

2017 topic areas are: 

• Epidemiology
• Markers and Mechanisms
• Models of PTE 
• Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures

Funding and Duration: 

Level 1: $300,000 total for 2 years 

Level 2: $500,000 total for 3 years
